A ceiling fan quick connect blade system (10) is disclosed which is coupled to a conventional ceiling fan electric motor (11) having a lower portion (12). The motor lower portion has an annular array of threaded mounting holes (13) therein. A post (16) having a stem (17) and a head (18) is mounted within each mounting hole (13) and extends through a S-shaped spring (19). The blade system also includes a blade iron (27) having a motor mounting flange (28) and a blade mounting portion (29). The blade mounting portion (29) has a pair of guide pins (41) extending above a peripheral, top edge 42, a rubber dampening plate (43) having protrusions (44) configured to nest upon the guide pins (41, and a securing plate (45) mounted for pivotal movement through a mounting bolt (46). The securing plate has a pair of oppositely facing catches (48) and an elongated tab (49) sized and shaped to be received within a notch (51). Each catch has an upright portion (53) and an overhanging portion (54). The securing plate is pivotal between a blade unlocked position and a blade locked position. Each blade iron is coupled to a ceiling fan blade 56 having a pair of mounting holes (57) and a pair of guide holes (58) . The mounting holes (57) are sized and shaped to receive the blade iron catches (48). The guide holes (58) are sized and shaped to receive the dampening plate protrusions (44).
L'invention décrite dans le présent document porte sur un système à pales à raccordement rapide (10) couplé à un moteur électrique classique pour ventilateur de plafond (11) dont la partie inférieure (12) est munie d'un réseau annulaire de trous de montage filetés (13). Un poteau (16) muni d'une tige (17) et d'une tête (18) est monté dans chaque trou de montage (13) et passe à travers d'un ressort en forme de S (19). Le système de pales comprend aussi une ferrure de pale (27) munie d'une collerette de montage de moteur (28) et d'une pièce de pose des pales (29). Cette dernière comporte deux tiges d'alignement (41) s'étendant à partir du pourtour supérieur (42), une plaque d'amortissement en caoutchouc (43) munie de protubérances (44) conçues pour se loger par dessus les tiges d'alignement (41), ainsi qu'une plaque de fixation (45) pivotante retenue par un boulon de fixation (46). La plaque de fixation est munie d'une paire de crochets d'arrêt à faces opposées (48) et d'un onglet allongé (49) conçu pour s'adapter à une encoche (51). Chaque crochet a une partie supérieure (53) et une partie en surplomb (54). La plaque de fixation est montée de façon à verrouiller ou déverrouiler la pale en pivotant. Chaque ferrure de pale est couplée à une pale de ventilateur de plafond (56) munie de deux trous de montage (57) et de deux trous d'alignement (58). Les trous de montage (57) sont conçus pour recevoir les crochets d'arrêt des ferrures de pale (48). Les trous d'alignement (58) sont pour leur part conçus pour recevoir les protubérances des plaques d'amortissement (44).
