A wiring system for an electrothermal propeller deicer (252) for both left and right hand rotating propellers (251), where the deicer (252) has leads extending therefrom and terminating in a connector (302) which mates with a connector (294) connecting leads from the power supply. The mated connectors are secured in a support bracket (260) attached to the propeller blade hub (253) using an adjustable, flexible, self connecting strap (332) which can be removed without removing the support bracket (260) during deicer (252) replacement.
