A quick-engaging trailer hitch including two flanges attached to a face plate or surface in front of a trailer ball or other hitch on a vehicle or elsewhere. The flanges are attached to the face plate in an upwardly opening 'V' configuration, with an opening at the base of the 'V' wide enough to fit the trailer hitch and the tongue of an attached trailer therebetween. The 'V', closing towards the hitch, allows for the trailer tongue to be lowered onto the ball or other hitch without precise manual alignment of the tongue and hitch, so long as the trailer hitch is positioned properly in relation to the distance from the vehicle and in approximate or near alignment with the hitch. The tongue as it is lowered is guided onto the ball or other trailer hitch.
