A remotely actuated fastener driving tool (10) provided with a valve structure (28) which includes a valve member (34) carried by the housing (30) and is constructed and arranged to move from a normal, inoperative position (fig. 2) into an operative position (fig. 3) to initiate the movement of the main valve (25) from its closed position to its opened position. The valve structure (28) is constructed and arranged to be coupled to a remotely located source of air (47) under pressure such that when air pressure is applied to the valve structure (28), the valve member (34) is biased to the inoperative position (fig. 2) thereof in sealing relation with an exhaust path (53) defined by the valve structure (28), and when the air pressure is relieved from the valve structure, the valve member moves to the operative position (fig. 3) thereof thereby opening the exhaust path (53) permitting pilot pressure associated with the main valve (25) to exhaust through the exhaust path (53) initiating the fastener driving stroke.

Ce pistolet à attaches (10), commandé à distance, est pourvu d'une structure de soupape (28) laquelle comporte un élément de soupape (34) porté par un logement (30) et est conçue et agencée pour se déplacer entre une position normale, de repos (figure), et une position de fonctionnement (figure 3), afin de provoquer le déplacement de la soupape principale (25) et que celle-ci quitte la position de fermeture pour se mettre en position d'ouverture. Cette structure de soupape (28) est conçue et agencée pour être couplée à une source d'air comprimé située à distance (47), de façon que lorsque l'on applique de l'air comprimé à la structure de soupape (28), l'élément de soupape (34) soit sollicité pour se placer en position de repos (figure) et sceller un trajet d'échappement (53) déterminé par la structure de soupape (28), et que lorsque l'on supprime la compression de l'air, la soupape se déplace pour se mettre en position de fonctionnement (figure 3), ouvrant ainsi le trajet d'échappement (53), ce qui permet à la pression pilote associée à la soupape principale (25) de s'échapper à travers ledit trajet (53) et de faire partir le coup entraînant l'attache.
