A connector system includes a connector receptacle and a removably attachable connector. The connector receptacle has an opening and a connector engaging structure. The removably attachable connector has a retaining member and a plurality of dust covers (261). The retaining member is insertable into the receptacle opening and has a bottom portion and a top portion from which at least three extensions (215) project. The extensions are adapted to cooperate with the connector engaging structure to secureley attach the connector to the receptacle. The plurality of dust covers are located in the bottom portion of the retaining member, each dust cover being associated with one of the extensions such that when the connector is securely attached to the receptacle, the dust covers fit snugly into the receptacle opening.
Cette invention se rapporte à un système connecteur comportant un logement pour connecteur et un connecteur qui peut être fixé de manière libérable. Ledit logement pour connecteur possède une ouverture et une structure d'accouplement avec le connecteur. Ledit connecteur susceptible d'être fixé de manière libérable possède un élément de retenue et une pluralité de capuchons (261) anti-poussière. L'élément de retenue peut être inséré dans l'ouverture du logement et possède une partie inférieure et une partie supérieure à partir desquelles au moins trois protubérances (215) font saillie. Ces protubérances sont conçues pour coopérer avec la structure d'accouplement au connecteur de manière à fixer fermement le connecteur au logement. La pluralité de capuchons anti-poussière est située sur la partie inférieure de l'élément de retenue, chacun de ces capuchons anti-poussière étant associé à l'une des protubérances de sorte que lorsque le connecteur est fermement fixé au logement, les capuchons anti-poussière s'adaptent parfaitement à l'intérieur de l'ouverture du logement.
