ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Curable unsaturated polyester molding materials which give high viscosities without the flow properties of the molding materials being adversely affected during processing are manufactured from a) an unsaturated polyester mixture consisting of an amorphous polyester and a crystalline polyester, b) at least one copolymerizable olefinic compound, c) an alkaline earth metal oxide and/or hydroxide, d) at least one inhibitor and e) conventional assistants and additives.
