ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Quinazoline and pyrimidoquinazoline derivatives of formula (I) and (II), and their process of preparation are provided: Image (I) wherein R? and R? are esterified carboxy, R2 and R3 are hydrogen, alkyl, halogen, nitro, amino, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkylthio, alkylpiperazinyl, acylamino or dialkylamino which may be substituted with hydroxy, A1 is a group of the formula: Image or Image in which R4 is hydrogen, alkyl, hydroxy, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, dialkylamino or 2,2-dialkoxycarbonylvinylamino, and R5 is alkyl or alkenyl, and Image (II) wherein R1 is hydrogen, carboxy or esterified carboxy, A2 is a group of the formula: Image , Image or Image in which R? is hydrogen, alkyl, hydroxy, alkoxy, alkenyloxy or dialkylamino, R6 is carboxy or esterified carboxy and R5 is the same as defined above, and R2 and R3 are each as defined above; the derivatives are active in the treatment of symptoms associated with allergic manifestations, for example asthmatic conditions.
