O.Z. 0050/42843 Quinoline-3-carboxamides, their manufacture and use ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Quinoline-3-carboxamides I Image (I) where R1 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, and the organic radicals may be substituted or un- substituted; R2 is hydrogen, hydroxyl, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, dialky- lamino, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, and the organic radicals may be substituted or unsub- stituted; or R1, R2 together denote an alkylene chain of 4 to 7 members and which may be interrupted by oxygen, sulfur or N-methyl; R3-R6 are hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, haloalkyl, haloal- koxy, alkylthio, haloalkylthio, halogen, cyano or nitro; X is oxygen or sulfur; with the proviso that R2 is not hydrogen, C1-C3-alkyl, n-bu- tyl, 3-methylbutyl, cyclohexyl, hexyl, heptyl, octyl, 2-chlorobenzyl, 3-(dimethylamino)propyl, 3-(diethyla- mino)propyl, 2-morpholinoethyl or 2-(3,4-dimethoxyphe- nyl)ethyl when R1 and R3 to R6 are hydrogen and X is oxygen, and that R2 is not benzyl when R1 is methyl, R3 to R6 are hy- drogen and X is oxygen, and that R1 and R2 do not jointly O.Z. 0050/42843 denote morpholino when R3 to R? are hydrogen and X is oxy- gen.
