Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to compounds of the formula Image (I) wherein Y represents an arylene group optionally substituted by a halogen atom, an arylsulfonyl group or an acyl group, Z represents a 1,2-naphthylene, 2,3-naphthylene, 1,8-nsphthylene or 2,2'-biphenylene group optionally substi- tuted by a halogen atom, and either one or both of the rings A and B option- ally contain a substituent. These compounds are yellows pigments having superior thermal stability and westherability.
