AHP-9065 QUINOLINYLMETHOXYPHENYLSULFONYL-CARBOXAMIDES AS ANTI-INFLAMMATORY/ANTIALLERGIC AGENTS Abstract There are disclosed compounds of the formula Image wherein W is -O-,-S-,? or -CH2-; X is O,S,NR2,CH=CH,CH=N or N-CH; Y is -CH2O-, -CH2S-, -CH2?-, -O-, -S-, ?, Image , Image or Image ; R1 is lower alkyl, perfluoroloweralkyl or phenyl substituted with R5; R2 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; R3, R4 and R5 are each independently hydrogen, lower alkyl, nitro, trifluoromethyl, halo, lower alkoxy, lower alkoxycarbonyl or lower alkanyloxy; n is 0 - 1; m is 0 - 10; and the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and their use in the treatment of leukotriene-mediated naso-bronchial obstructive airpassageway conditions, such as allergic rhinitis, allergic bronchial asthma and the like, in psoriasis, ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis as well as in other immediate hypersensitivity reactions.
