ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention is concerned with a topical composition for use on the scalp in seborrheic alopecia, dandruff, greasy hairs and male pattern baldness. The composition of the inven- tion contains as active ingredient at least one aromatic com- pound selected from the group consisting of o-benzoquinone, p-benzoquinine, menadione, menadione sodium bisulfite, potassium o-oxyquinolinsulfate and sodium merthiolate, together with a liquid carrier.
