An aqueous vinyl acetate/N-methylolacrylamide copolymer emulsion for RF curable Type I wood adhesive compositions prepared by the polymerization of vinyl acetate and N-methylolacrylamide in the presence of 1 to 5 wt% tetramethylol glycoluril and a stabilizing system consisting essentially of 3 to 5 wt% polyvinyl alcohol, the weight percentages being based upon vinyl acetate monomer.

Émulsion aqueuse d'un copolymère d'acétate de vinyle/N-méthylolacrylamide utiles dans des compositions adhésives réticulables par RF pour bois de type I ; elles sont préparées par polymérisation d'acétate de vinyle et de N-méthylolacrylamide, en présence de 1 à 5 % en poids de tétraméthylol glycoluril et d'un système stabilisateur constitué principalement de 3 à 5 % en poids de poly(alcool vinylique), les pourcentages en poids étant basés sur le monomère d'acétate de vinyle.
