A highly shock-absorbing racket frame of fiber reinforced plastic material comprises an outer shell made from a plurality of fiber fabric sheets preimpregnated in epoxy resin and made up of fibers arranged in a predetermined orientation. The outer shell located in the head portion and the shaft portion is provided with at least one shock-absorbing portion fitted into a tubular bridging mean in such a manner that they are adhered securely. A first reinforced means is used to cover across the bordering portion of one end of bridging means and outer shell in addition to the surface adjacent to bridging means and outer shell. A second reinforced means is used to cover across the bordering portion of another end of bridging means and outer shell in addition to the surface adjacent to bridging means and outer shell. The shock wave generated in the head portion is therefore effectively absorbed and mitigated bythe shock-absorbing portion.

Ce cadre est constitué d'une coquille extérieure composée de plusieurs feuilles de toile de fibres préimprégnées de résine époxyde et de fibres disposées dans un sens prédéterminé. La coquille extérieure de la tête et du manche comprend au moins un segment d'amortissement de chocs qui est ajusté dans une traversière tubulaire de façon à assurer une adhérence solide. Un second dispositif renforcé est utilisé pour couvrir d'un côté à l'autre la bordure d'une autre extrémité de la traversière et de la coquille extérieure, en plus de la surface adjacente à la traversière et à la coquille extérieure. L'onde de choc formée dans la tête est ainsi efficacement amortie et atténuée par la partie d'amortissement de chocs.
