Abstract of the Disclosure A racket, especially a tennis racket, is constructed to be of a normal size, but has a lengthwise adjustable grip to offer the player the opportunity to adapt the length of the racket to his skills and to the development of his hitting arm. For this purpose, a hand-grip sleeve is arranged on a shaft of the racket frame in a longitudinally movable manner. The position of the grip sleeve can be adjusted via an adjusting screw. On at least one side of the shaft, an imprinted guide is provided that spans at least the range of adjusting movement of the top edge of the grip sleeve.
