ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A radar beacon apparatus comprises a receiving unit for receiving and demodulating a radar pulse wave, a gate signal generating unit for generating a gate signal having a specific width which is controlled by the demodulation signal of the receiving unit, and a transmitting unit for transmitting a frequency modulation signal under the control of the gate signal for sweeping the frequency in the specific band in which the frequency of the radar wave is included, and a display unit for displaying the reception of the radar wave. The transmitting unit is activated only when required.
