The invention concerns a radar interferometry device comprising at least a transmitting satellite (E) and a constellation of receiving satellites (S). The receivers are strictly synchronous and their orbits have the same eccentricity which differs from that of the transmitter orbit. During an orbital period, the satellites travel along a relative ellipse G over which they are regularly distributed. The invention is useful in particular for measuring ocean currents, measuring world topography and differential interferometry.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'interférométrie radar qui comprend au moins un satellite émetteur (E) et une constellation de satellites récepteurs (S). Les récepteurs sont rigoureusement synchrones et leurs orbites ont la même excentricité qui diffère de celle de l'orbite de l'émetteur. Pendant une période orbitale, les satellites parcourent une ellipse relative (G) sur laquelle ils sont répartis régulièrement. L'invention présente des applications notamment pour la mesure de courants marins, la mesure de la topographie mondiale et l'interférométrie différentielle.
