ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A tire with a radial carcass reinforcement and a tread reinforcement is improved due to the fact that between the radial carcass reinforcement and the tread reinforcement there is arranged a limiting block composed of two plies whose cables form an angle with the longitudinal direction which is less than one-quater of the angle which the cords of the tread rein- forcement form with said same direction.
