A piston pump including an inlet manifold, and outlet manifold, and a piston ring sandwiched between the inlet and outlet manifolds. The inlet manifold has a first face and a second face with at least one outlet formed in the second face. The outlet manifold has a first face and a second face, and includes at least one inlet formed in the outlet manifold first face. The piston ring has an inlet face and an exhaust face, wherein the piston ring is sandwiched between said inlet manifold second face and said outlet manifold first face, and has at least one radially extending cylinder formed therein. The piston ring further includes an inlet passageway formed in the piston ring between the inlet face and the cylinder and in fluid communication with the inlet manifold. The piston ring also has an exhaust passageway formed therein between said cylinder and the exhaust face and in fluid communication with the outlet manifold inlet. A piston is disposed in the cylinder for reciprocating movement, wherein reciprocating movement of the piston allows fluid into the cylinder through the inlet passageway and exhausts fluid out of the cylinder through the exhaust passageway.
L'invention concerne une pompe à pistons comprenant une tubulure d'admission et une tubulure de décharge, ainsi qu'un segment de piston compris entre les tubulures d'admission et de décharge. Ladite tubulure d'admission présente des première et seconde faces, au moins une sortie étant formée dans la seconde face. Ladite tubulure de décharge présente des première et seconde faces, ainsi qu'au moins une entrée formée dans la première face de la tubulure de décharge. Le segment de piston possède une face d'entrée et une face d'évacuation. Ledit segment est compris entre ladite seconde face de la tubulure d'admission et ladite première face de la tubulure de décharge, et il possède au moins un cylindre s'étendant radialement. Ce segment de piston comporte également une voie de passage d'entrée formée dans le segment de piston entre la face d'entrée et le cylindre et communiquant avec la tubulure d'admission. Ledit segment de piston comprend également une voie de passage d'évacuation formée entre ledit cylindre et la face d'évacuation et en communication fluidique avec l'entrée de la tubulure de décharge. Un piston est disposé dans le cylindre pour engendrer un mouvement de va-et-vient qui permet au liquide de s'écouler dans le cylindre à travers la voie de passage d'entrée et de sortir dudit cylindre par le biais de la voie de passage d'évacuation.
