A radial shaft seal ring with a support ring and a seal element made of an elastomer material fixed to it by vulcanization, which has a seal lip that is at a distance from the support ring in the radial direction when the seal ring is not installed and when installed in a housing opening, encloses the shaft under pressure with its bent sealing surface, where the seal lip (4) is made of an elastomer and its seal surface (5) consists of a seal bead (7) located on the end of the seal lip (4) that encircles the shaft (6) and a surface section (9) that contacts it and holds back or returns leaked fluid, where the join surface (10) of the seal lip (4) faces the inside (11) of the housing to be sealed off when the seal element (3) is installed.
