ABSTRACT A radial tyre has a carcass composed of at least one carcass ply and a belt layer composed of at least tree belt plies. A carcass profile of the carcass in the standard state includes a n upper region, a lower region and a bead region. The upper region is between a belt outer edge point at which a vertical line extending from the edge of a narrowest belt ply intersects to the carcass and a maximum width point of the carcass. The lower region is between the maximum width point and an inflection point of which height is 1.6 times the flange height. The bead region is between the inflection point and a contacting point with a bead core. The ratio R1/R2 Or the radius R1 of a curvature overlapping with the upper region to the radius R2 of a curvature overlapping, with the lower region is 0.95 to 1.08 , and the ratio TRI/SW of the radius TR1 of curvature of the tread surface to the tyre maximum width SW is 1.28 to 1.95
