ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A radiation protection filter for plants is disclosed which exhibits, on the one hand, a reduced spectral transmission in the wavelength range between 500 and 600 nm and, on the other hand, an increased spectral transmission in the range between 400 and 500 nm as well as that between 600 and 800 nm. This results for the same total radiation load in an optimisation of the transmittance in the photo- biologically important wavelength ranges.
