ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A radiation-resistant color television camera for inspections in radioactive environments employs a photoconductive film of multi-layer construction including a porous film obtained by vapor-deposition of antimony trisulfide in an inert gas, and a dense film obtained by vapor-deposition in a high vacuum, as well as quartz glass for the glass substrate of a color filter. This makes it possible to employ the camera in a highly radioactive environment where the dose rate is higher than 2 x 105 R/H.
