A device for medical radiation therapy has a flexible mat (1) which is placed over the part of the patient's body to be treated. This mat has prefabricated channels (7) extending inside its plane for accommodating or inserting tubular guides in which an essentially point source of radiation can be pushed and positioned. The mat consists of one piece made of silicone or a silicone- like, autoclavable material. The mat is formed from a number of balls (9) or rounded, spherical, ball-shaped bodies (9a) arranged adjacent to one another and connected to one another via neck sections (8), whereby the channels extend through the balls (9) and/or the neck sections (8). Thus, even a mat with a minimum specific thickness has an especially good flexibility and ability to fit over different shapes.
Un dispositif de radiothérapie médicale comporte un treillis de support (1) souple, placé au niveau de la région à traiter chez le patient. Des canaux (7) préfabriqués s'étendent dans le plan de ce treillis (1) et sont destinés à loger ou à insérer des douilles de guidage (2) dans lesquelles une source de radiation (5) principalement sous forme de points peut être déplacée et positionnée. Ce treillis (1) est réalisé d'une seule pièce en silicone ou dans un matériau de type silicone pouvant être passé à l'autoclave. Il est constitué de nombreuses billes (9), juxtaposées et reliées entre elles par des sections tubulaires (8), ou bien d'éléments (9a) en forme de billes, les canaux (7) passant à travers les billes (9) et/ou les sections tubulaires (8). Ce dispositif assure une excellente mobilité et peut s'adapter à différentes formes, même lorsque le treillis (1) présente une épaisseur minimale.
