A radiator tube (111) having a portion at each end which is adapted to be received in a header tank of a radiator and an intermediate portion between the ends, said intermediate portion having a cross section defined by a pair of side walls (121) and a pair of end walls (123), the side walls are generally parallel and have a spacing between them which is less than the spacing between the end walls, the side walls supporting a set of generally parallel fins (113), each fin extending laterally from the tube, each fin having an inner side edge thermally communicating with the respective side wall of the tube and an outer side edge (119) in a substantially spaced parallel relationship with the inner side edge, a forward edge (115) and a rear edge (117), said forward edge having an arcuate configuration taking the form of a continuous curve extending from the forward most edge of the fin to the outer side edge.
L'invention concerne un tube de radiateur (111) comportant sur chaque extrémité, une partie conçue pour être logée dans un collecteur de radiateur, et une partie intermédiaire située entre les extrémités. Ladite partie intermédiaire présente une section transversale définie par une paire de parois latérales (121) et une paire de parois terminales (123). Les parois latérales sont essentiellement parallèles et présentent un espace inférieur à l'espace compris entre les parois terminales, les parois latérales supportant un ensemble d'ailettes essentiellement parallèles (113), chaque ailette s'étendant latéralement à partir du tube. Chaque ailette comporte une arête latérale intérieure se trouvant en communication thermique avec la paroi latérale respective du tube, une arête latérale extérieure (119) essentiellement parallèle et espacée par rapport à l'arête latérale intérieure, ainsi qu'une arête avant (115) et une arête arrière (117). L'arête arrière se présente sous forme courbe s'étendant de l'arête avant de l'ailette vers l'arrière de l'arête latérale extérieure.
