The detection of the symbols spread with only these spreading codes enables to acquire synchronization of the long spreading code, synchronization of switching of reverse and forward links, and synchronization of a transmission frame. It is thereby possible to reduce synchronization acquisition time for the long spreading and an easy planning of base station locations without decreasing the frequency utilization efficiency.
