It is possible to accurately and conveniently determine the origin, contents, position, and/or destination of a reusable container (48) (such as a tote or bin, particularly for a manufacturing process) by applying a permanent adhesive label (43) with embedded programmable RFID (44) to the reusable container at a location where the RFID may be detected and reprogrammed. The RFID is programmed with accurate variable information including relating to at least one of the origin, contents, position, and destination of the container, and at least one location the variable information of the RFID is detected. After a first use of the reusable container it is reprogrammed with other accurate variable information, and the detecting and reprogramming are repeated multiple times. Preferably the label is of a substantially moisture impermeable material such as a plastic film, or synthetic paper.
Selon l'invention, il est possible de déterminer avec précision et facilité, l'origine, les contenus, la position, et/ou la destination de contenants à usages multiples (48) (tels qu'un conteneur ou qu'une trémie, particulièrement dans le cadre d'un processus de fabrication), par application d'une étiquette adhésive permanente (43) incluant une identification à fréquence radio (RFID) programmable (44), sur le contenant à usages multiples, à un endroit où la RFID peut être détectée et reprogrammée. La RFID est programmée à l'aide d'informations variables précises, y compris concernant au moins l'un des éléments que sont l'origine, les contenus, la position, et la destination du contenant, et les informations variables de la RFID sont détectées à au moins un endroit. Après une première utilisation du contenant à usages multiples, la RFID est reprogrammée avec d'autres informations variables précises, et la détection et la reprogrammation sont répétées plusieurs fois.
