A method for the production of radio-labelled ferrite nanoparticles comprising the steps of: (a) adding an aqueous solution containing Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions and a radioisotope to an alkaline solution and agitating the mixture to form a precipitate comprising ferrite particles labelled with the radioisotope; and (b) isolating and washing the precipitated labelled particles.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication de nanoparticules de ferrite radiomarquées consistant: (a) à ajouter une solution aqueuse contenant des ions Fe?2+¿ et Fe?3+¿ et un radio-isotope à une solution alcaline, puis à agiter le mélange pour former un précipité comprenant les particules de ferrite radiomarquées; et (b) à isoler puis laver les particules marquées précipitées.
