A drifting (WTRU) wireless transmit/receive unit has an associated (D-RNC) drift radio network controller (38) and an associated (S-RNC) servicing radio network controller (40). The D-RNC (38) sends a request message to the S-RNC (40) requesting measurements of the drifting WTRU. The S-RNC (40) receives the request message and sends an information message with the requested measurements to the D-RNC (38). The D-RNC (38) receives the information message.
L'invention concerne une unité d'émission/réception sans fil (WTRU) dérivante comprenant un contrôleur de réseau radio de dérive (D-RNC) et un contrôleur de réseau radio de desserte (S-RNC). Le D-RNC envoie un message de demande au S-RNC en vue d'obtenir les mesures de l'unité WTRU dérivante. Le S-RNC reçoit le message de demande et envoie un message d'informations contenant les mesures demandées au D-RNC. Le D-RNC reçoit alors ce message d'informations.
