- 1 - Abstract: The invention provides a radioactive diagnostic agent for bone scanning which comprises 99mTc and a non-radioactive carrier comprising (A) methanehydroxydiphosphonic acid or a salt thereof, and (B) at least one reducing agent for pertech- netates, in a weight ratio of about 1 : 1 to 7 : 1. This agent prevents the accumulation of radioactivity in the liver so that a definite diagnosis can be assured.
