ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Orgotein labeled with 99MTc, or with a radioactive iodine isotope. preferably 131I, is useful in scintigraphy for tissue visualization, especially the kidneys, since the orgotein is rapidly concentrated therein after parenteral administration. This provides the advantage of providing a non-toxic carrier for the radioactive element which remains in the kidneys long enough to provide an advantageously long enough latitude of several hours from the time the labeled orgotein is administered and when scintigraphic examination must be completed.
