The device comprises a radiocommunications and localization device of the type comprising an array of antennas coupled respectively to a goniometer device and a radio receiver delivering phonic signals to an operator respectively on two headphones. This device comprises a device to identify the position of the operator's head and a device for the generation of phonic signals that is coupled to the goniometer device, the radio receiver and the identifying device for the application, respectively to the headphones, of the mutually phase-shifted phonic signals so as to give the operator the impression that the phonic signal that he hears is coming from the direction of arrival of the radiowaves determined by the goniometer device. The applications of this device relate to the radio- localization of persons moving in groups. Figure 1.

'invention est un appareil de radiocommunication et de localisation comportant un réseau d'antennes couplées respectivement à un goniomètre et à un récepteur radio qui transmet des signaux sonores individuels à deux écouteurs utilisés par un opérateur. L'appareil comporte un dispositif de localisation de la position de la tête de l'opérateur et un dispositif générateur de signaux sonores couplé au goniomètre, au récepteur radio et au dispositif d'identification pour transmettre aux écouteurs individuels les signaux sonores déphasés l'un par rapport à l'autre et donner ainsi l'impression à l'opérateur que le signal sonore qu'il entend lui parvient dans la direction d'arrivée des ondes radio déterminée par le goniomètre. Cet appareil peut être utilisé pour la radiolocalisation des personnes se déplaçant en groupe. Figure 1.
