Rail expansion device (10) having stock and tongue rails (12) which can be displaced longitudinally with respect to one another and bear against one another transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the rails under the application of force, wherein a holder releasably holds the tongue rail at a distance from the region thereof which bears against the stock rail (12), and wherein the tongue rail in the holder is non-positively and positively connected to a standard rail (16, 18) passing into it or to a section thereof or to a section of the holder whose profile merges with that of the standard rail.

L'invention concerne un dispositif (10) de dilatation des rails soudés, comprenant une contre-aiguille et une lame d'aiguille (12) pouvant coulisser longitudinalement l'une par rapport à l'autre et reposant l'une contre l'autre en étant soumises à une force mutuelle transversalement au sens longitudinal des rails. Selon l'invention, la lame d'aiguille est posée de manière amovible sur un support à une certaine distance de sa zone qui repose sur la contre-aiguille (12) et la lame d'aiguille est reliée dans le support, par engagement géométrique ou par adhérence, avec un rail de réglage (16, 18) qui se transforme en celle-ci ou avec une section de celui-ci ou encore avec une section du support dont le profil se transforme en le rail de réglage.
