ABSTRACT A rail fastening device comprising a housing to be anchored in the ground and having a longitudinal hole extending in the direction of the rail to be fastened and comprising a clamp bent-over twice, the central part of which bears on the rail, whereas one bent-over part is located in the longitudinal hole and the other bent-over part bears on a supporting face of the housing, whereby the end portion of the part bearing on the supporting face of the housing is again bent- over in a manner such that the end bears on the rail.
