The proposed rail spike comprises a main pin (1) with a head (2) which grasps the flange (3) of the rail and a stop pin (4) with a head (5). The main pin (1) on the rear side of the head (2) is provided with a longitudinal guide groove (6) which extends beyond the boundaries of the body in a straight line through the head (2) and in a curved line on the middle section of its length. The stop pin (4) in cross section matches the dimensions of the longitudinal guide groove (6) in the main pin (1) and has a pointed end (7). In the operating position, the main pin (1) is securely fixed in the sleeper (9) by the stop pin (4) whose pointed end (7) is driven into the body of the sleeper (9) along the curved line of the longitudinal guide groove (6) and has the effect of creating a reliable anchoring which prevents it from being pulled out.

Le crampon de rail de l'invention comprend une pointe principale (1) présentant une tête (2), laquelle fixe le bord (3) du rail ainsi qu'une pointe d'immobilisation (4) dotée d'une tête (5). La pointe principale (1), sur le côté arrière de la tête (2), est dotée d'une gorge de guidage longitudinale (6) s'étendant au-delà des limites du corps en une ligne droite traversant la tête (2), et en une ligne courbée au milieu de sa longueur. La pointe d'immobilisation (4) est adaptée en section transversale aux dimensions de la gorge de guidage longitudinale (6) se trouvant dans la pointe principale (1) et présente une extrémité pointue (7). Dans la position de service, la pointe principale (1) est fixée solidement dans la traverse (9) par la pointe d'immobilisation (4) dont l'extrémité pointue (7) est enfoncée dans le corps de la traverse (9), le long de la ligne courbée de la gorge de guidage longitudinale (6), et présente un effet créant un ancrage fiable empêchant son retrait.
