A railcar with discharge control system is disclosed. In one embodiment, a railway car includes an underframe (50) and at least one hopper for transporting lading. The railway car further including the underframe including a center sill (52) which defines in part a longitudinal axis of the railway car- A discharge opening formed proximate to a lower portion of the hopper. A respective door (90a, 90b) assembly pivotally mounted adjacent to the discharge opening to control the flow of lading from the hopper. The door assembly (90a, 90b) operable for movement between a first, closed position and a second, open position relative to the discharge opening. A discharge control system (160) operable to move the door assembly between the first position and the second position. The discharge control system (160) operably moves generally longitudinally along the axis of the railway car to move the door assemblies (90a, 90b) between the first, closed position and the second, open position.

L'invention porte sur un wagon équipé d'un système de contrôle de déchargement. Ce wagon comprend un sous-châssis (50) et au moins une trémie afin de transporter des chargements. Le wagon qui comprend le sous-châssis comprend aussi un longeron central (52) qui définit en partie un axe longitudinal du wagon. Une ouverture de déchargement est formée à proximité d'une partie inférieure de la trémie, un ensemble porte respectif (90a, 90b) est monté pivotant contre l'ouverture de déchargement afin de contrôler le flux de déchargement depuis la trémie. L'ensemble porte (90a, 90b) bouge entre une première position fermée et une seconde position ouverte par rapport à l'ouverture de déchargement. Un système de contrôle de déchargement (160) fait bouger l'ensemble porte entre la première position et la seconde position. Ce système de contrôle de déchargement (160) se déplace généralement dans le sens longitudinal le long de l'axe du wagon afin de faire bouger l'ensemble porte (90a, 90b) entre la première position fermée et la seconde position ouverte.
