ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Machine provided with two grinding slippers, one for each rail of a railway track, connected by a lifting jack and by driving beams to its rolling frame. On each slipper are mounted four grinding units angularly displaced with respect to each other. The slippers are located in front of one another in the transverse direction of the track and are hinged on a connecting element in order to be inclined by means of a double-acting jack. The inclination of each slipper is monitored by a potentiometer connected to an indicating dial. This machine enables truing of the rail by grinding the whole profile of the rolling surface of the rails by varying the inclination of the grinding slippers at each pass.
