21766-491 A B S T R A C T In order to steer yawing movements of wheel sets of a railway truck in opposite senses, the wheel sets are intercoupled through two relatively spaced pivotal arms each of which is coupled with an intercoupling mechanism. Each of the two wheel sets is connected by means of the axle bearings forming cylindrical pivots with two relatively spaced pivotal arms, each of which is pivotally connected through a spherical pivot with a middle part of an upwardly directed lever. A first end of each lever is pivotally connected by means of a spherical pivot with the frame and the second end is pivotally connected by means of a spherical pivot with coupling means of the coupling mechanism. The coupling means extends on substantially the same level as the second ends of the levers and couples at least the diagonally opposed levers.
