A railway vehicle truck assembly includes wheel sets (12) having longitudinally spaced, transversely extending axles (18), and wheels (14, 16) mounted to the axles, transversely spaced longitudinally extending side frames (22, 24) mounted to the axles (18), and a transversely extending bolster (34) mounted to the side frames (22, 24). The bolster (34) has a center bowl (36) and opposed, elongated bolster arms (38, 40) extending from the center bowl (36). The bolster arms (38, 40) each form spaced structural walls, a first of the structural walls of the bolster arms (38, 40) having a bolster anchor fitting defined thereon, and a second of the structural walls having a bolster anchor opening defined therethrough. The structural walls further define an inner cavity between the walls, and bolster anchors (58, 60) connect the side frames (22, 24) to the bolster (34).

L'invention a trait à un ensemble bogie de véhicule ferroviaire comportant des essieux montés (12) dotés d'essieux (18) longitudinalement espacés et transversaux; de roues (14, 16) montées sur lesdits essieux; de cadres latéraux (22, 24) s'étendant de manière longitudinale et transversalement espacés montés sur les essieux (18); et d'une traverse pivot (34) transversale montée sur lesdits cadres latéraux (22, 24). Cette traverse pivot (34) est munie d'un évidement circulaire central (36) et de bras allongés, opposés (38, 40) partant de l'évidement circulaire central (36). Chaque bras (38, 40) de la traverse forme des parois structurales espacées, une première de ces parois structurales étant munie d'une ferrure de fixation de la traverse et une seconde de ces parois structurales étant traversée par un orifice de fixation de la traverse. En outre, ces parois structurales définissent entre elles une cavité interne et les fixations (58, 60) de la traverse relient les châssis latéraux (22, 24) à la traverse (34).
