An object of the invention is to provide accuracy as well as simplicity, which is necessary when determining the time of rainfall events after the application of many pesticides. In agricultural and horticultural pesticide applications many chemicals require a rain-free period of 2-6 hours. Often it is common for the applicator to live many kilometers from the spray site. Rainfall patterns are irregular and it is quite difficult to know if a treated area received the adequate rain free period. What commonly occurs when there is doubt as to the time of a rain event, the area in question receives treatment again. This is common in the industry." The simplicity of the RainFall Timer enables it usable to pesticide applicators who require a simple reliable device to inform them of the timing of rain events to accurately base their decisions to respray or not.
