A raked bar screen for a storm overflow comprises a grid of parallel spaced- apart bars (1) attached at their ends to a framework (2,3,14). A comb assembly (4,5,6) has teeth (5) which engage in the spaces between the grid bars (1). The comb assembly is longitudinally reciprocable, whereby the comb teeth can sweep longitudinally back and forth between the grid bars. The grid bars are shaped to provide a straight central portion (10) and longitudinal end portions (11,12) which are angled in relation to the straight portion. In use, sweeping of the comb teeth between the grid bars at the angled end portions drives out entrapped solid matter.

Grille à barreaux inclinée pour déversoir d'orage comportant une grille à barreaux (1) parallèles séparés les uns des autres et fixés, au niveau de leurs extrémités, à un cadre (2, 3, 14). Un dispositif peigne (4, 5, 6) est muni de dents qui s'enfoncent dans les espaces situés entre les barreaux (1) de la grille. Le dispositif peigne effectue un mouvement de va-et-vient longitudinal, ce qui permet aux dents du peigne de balayer de manière longitudinale, vers l'arrière et vers l'avant, entre les barreaux de la grille. Les barreaux de la grille sont configurés de manière à ce qu'il existe une partie centrale droite (10) et des extrémités longitudinales (11, 12) inclinées par rapport à la partie droite. En pratique, le balayage réalisé par les dents du peigne entre les barreaux de la grille au niveau des extrémités inclinées chasse la matière solide emprisonnée.
