Mo3311 PU-225 RAPID CURING, LIGHT STABLE, TWO-COMPONENT POLYURETHANE COATING COMPOSITIONS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention is directed to a process for the preparation of a polyurethane coating by a) preparing a coating composition having an improved potlife from i) a compound containing at least two hydroxyl groups, ii) a polyisocyanate containing aliphatically-, cycloaliphatically- or araliphatically-bound isocyanate groups, iii) about 0.005 to 2.0 weight percent, based on the weight of components i) and ii), of a tin catalyst and iv) at least about 50 mole percent, based on the tin catalyst, of hydrogen chloride, b) applying the coating composition to a substrate and c) curing the coating composition, optionally in the presence of an amine vapor, to form the polyurethane coating.
