The invention relates to a weapon (1) comprising a barrel (2), in which several sub-projectiles (4) that are supported on each another are inserted, a propelling charge (6, 6') being provided behind each sub-projectile. Said propelling charges are ignited in sequence, ejecting the sub-projectiles in succession from the barrel. To achieve reproducible firing characteristics, the sub-projectiles (4) are respectively interconnected in the vicinity of the propelling charges (6, 6') by a mechanical connection, each of said connections having a pre-determined breaking point (7, 7'), which is ruptured in a defined manner after the ignition of the respective propelling charge by the pressure of the propelling gases. In addition, for each propelling charge (6, 6') the firing device comprises a pyrotechnical ignition charge (22) that can be mounted on the barrel, the respective propelling gases of said charges entering an ignition channel (23) that penetrates the wall of the barrel and opens in the vicinity of a propelling charge (6, 6'), thus igniting the respective propelling charge (6, 6').

L'invention concerne une arme (1) présentant un canon (2) dans lequel sont introduits plusieurs sous-projectiles (4) prenant appui l'un sur l'autre, une charge propulsive (6, 6') étant prévue derrière chaque sous-projectile. Les charges propulsives sont amorcées de manière séquentielle de sorte que les sous-projectiles sont expulsés du canon les uns après les autres. L'objectif de l'invention est de permettre l'obtention de propriétés de tir reproductibles. A cet effet, les sous-projectiles (4) sont assemblés solidement au moyen d'un assemblage mécanique respectif dans la zone des charges propulsives (6, 6'), lesdits assemblages présentant chacun une zone destinée à la rupture (7, 7') qui, après l'allumage de la charge propulsive respective, est rompue de manière définie, sous l'effet de la pression exercée par les gaz propulsifs. Le dispositif d'allumage présente en outre, pour chaque charge propulsive (6, 6'), une charge d'allumage pyrotechnique (22) qui peut être placée sur le canon et dont les gaz propulsifs pénètrent dans un canal d'allumage (23), ménagé à travers la paroi du canon et débouchant au niveau d'une charge propulsive (6, 6'), et amorcent la charge propulsive respective (6, 6').
