The present invention provides a manifold for rapid injection of fluids, such as medications, into a patient through an intravenous line. The manifold comprises a tubular main channel having an inlet at a first end and an outlet at a second end, the main channel defining therein an internal passageway for the movement of fluids. The manifold has an injection port in fluid communication with the passageway of the main channel and a flush port in fluid communication with the passageway of the main channel. These ports may communicate directly with the main channel of the manifold, or may be located at the end of arms that extend outwardly therefrom. The injection port and the flush port are located on opposing sides of the main channel in a staggered fashion, and the injection port is located further down the main channel, i.e. closer to the outlet, than is the flush port. This apparatus provides for a more convenient and ergonomic manifold for the rapid injection of fluids followed immediately thereafter by a flush of the intravenous line.
