A B S T R A C T The rapid locking device comprises an outer casing having a central spindle connected to one side of a seat-back frame. The outer casing contains a second casing (6) which is star-shaped and maintains at least one pin carrying a swing bar (8) on which are mounted idle serrated rollers placed between outer face of the star-shaped casing and inner face of the outer casing.
