A ratchet screwdriver and method of making same wherein there is a handle (10) and there are a ratchet gear(32) and pawls (42) inside the handle. An adjuster (28) is inside the handle and is movable by a tool extending into the handle for positioning the adjuster relative to the gear and thereby eliminating play between the gear and the handle. Ball bearings (26) are interposed between the handle and the gear and the bearings rotatably support the gear and transmit the anti-play forces (Fl, F2) that act on the gear.

L'invention concerne un tournevis va-et-vient et son procédé de fabrication, ce tournevis comprenant un manche ainsi qu'un engrenage à rochet et des cliquets logés dans ce manche. Un dispositif de réglage est situé dans le manche et peut se déplacer sous l'action d'un outil s'étendant dans le manche en vue du positionnement du dispositif de réglage par rapport à l'engrenage, ce qui permet de supprimer le jeu entre l'engrenage et le manche. Des roulements à billes sont disposés entre le manche et l'engrenage, ces roulements supportant de manière rotative l'engrenage et assurant la transmission des forces anti-jeu qui agissent sur l'engrenage.
