ABSTRACT The ratcheting screwdriver comprises a handle having a bore and a keyway substantially tangent thereto. In the bore is a gear and in the keyway are a pair of pawls which are movable individually into and out of engagement with the gear. An ac- tuator is provided at the forward end of the handle to move these pawls. A cap operates the actuator.
