A video signal processing system for producing an output signal suitable for coupling to a display device to produce a displayed image, the video processing system having a system which blocks viewing of programs which are broadcast with ratings or spending information which is outside a profile set by a supervisor who has entered a password accepted by the control system, and which permits the supervisor to temporarily modify the ratings profile according to a set of overrride parameters. After completion of the time period(s) or supervisor-designated television broadcast(s), the system automatically returns to the normal ratings profile but retains the set of override parameters for easy reimposition by the supervisor.
L'invention concerne un système de traitement de signaux vidéo servant à produire un signal de sortie convenant au couplage avec un dispositif d'affichage en vue d'obtenir une image affichée, le système de traitement vidéo comportant un système qui bloque la visualisation de programmes diffusés avec des informations de classement ou de dépenses ne correspondant pas à un profil établi par un superviseur ayant saisi un mot de passe accepté par le système de contrôle, et permettant au superviseur de modifier temporairement le profil de classement en fonction d'un ensemble de paramètres prioritaires. Au terme des durées ou des émissions de télévision sélectionnées par le superviseur, le système revient automatiquement au profil de classement habituel mais retient l'ensemble de paramètres prioritaires en vue de leur rétablissement facile par le superviseur.
