A replaceable razor blade cartridge includes a blade unit and cartridge connecting structure for connecting the blade unit to a handle by movement of the handle along a connection axis toward the cartridge connecting structure. A cutaway portion of the cartridge connecting structure acts as a keyway for receiving a mating key on the handle as the handle is moved along the connection axis to enhance proper orientation of the handle. The cartridge connecting structure has an entrance, with the cutaway portion being disposed at the entrance. The entrance is oriented in a direction parallel to the connection axis, the cutaway portion providing unobstructed passage for the mating key as the cartridge is connected to the handle.
