Razor handle (2) comprising - a head portion (6) provided, at a front end (3) thereof, with a bearing structure (8) for connection to a razor head (7), and - an elongated body portion (5) having an upper surface (9) said body portion (5) being provided with a local upper front gripping area (27) comprising a plurality of spaced projections (28) protruding from said upper surface (9), said gripping area being centered on a point (29) located at a distance of at least 3 cm from the front end (3) of the head portion (6).
