A re-useable soffit form system for the concrete slab component of a composite action concrete and cold-formed steel floor is described. Cold-formed steel tophat profile elements are used on the channels as saddles to support lumber reinforced plywood panels. Between the removable panels and the left in place saddles, bearing blocks of several designs are used. These enable the essential "drop" of the sofft panel. By the use, beneath certain panels, of deeper tophat saddles in conjunction with higher blocks, complete removal and recovery of the soffit panels is permitted. Minor items to ensure stability of the system are also described.
